An ambivalent emphasis on both the sonic and visual registers — the two pulling against each other only to converge, univocally, on the sense of urgency dictated by accelerationism and transhumanism. The track samples Kenji Kawai's Making of a Cyborg — the opening cue from Mamoru Oshii's Ghost in the Shell — folding it into a synesthetic work that reaches the same charged territory mapped by hyperstition and Nick Land's cyber-schizo rants: a future already producing us, faster than we can name it.

NEMA — Resonant Bends
▶ FULL PERFORMANCE · ↳ YT playlist
A concert-project conceived by NEMA Ensemble exploring timbre as a generative force of musical form. Drawing from French spectral thought (Grisey, Murail, Dufourt) and its roots in Debussy and Messiaen, it unfolds as a continuous perceptual journey — listening guided by evolving sonic qualities rather than themes or narratives. “What happens when musical form is allowed to emerge from the internal transformation of sound itself?” The program moves from electronic thresholds to ritual gestures, from microscopic attention to sound to expansive harmonic spaces, finally returning to Debussy's Nuages — a timeless figure of suspended time and floating resonance.

Resonant Bends is a concert-project conceived by NEMA Ensemble as an exploration of timbre as a generative force of musical form. Rather than presenting a strict "spectral program", the project traces a broader constellation of ideas, linking spectral music to its precursors and consequences across different repertoires, media, and listening modes. At the core of the project lies a simple yet radical question: “What happens when musical form is allowed to emerge from the internal transformation of sound itself?” Drawing inspiration from French spectral thought (Grisey, Murail, Dufourt) and its deep roots in Debussy and Messiaen, Resonant Bends unfolds as a continuous perceptual journey. Electronics, acoustic instruments, original compositions, commissions, and transcriptions coexist within a single dramaturgical arc, where listening is guided not by themes or narratives, but by evolving sonic qualities. The program moves from electronic thresholds to ritual gestures, from microscopic attention to sound to expansive harmonic spaces, finally returning to Debussy's Nuages — a timeless figure of suspended time and floating resonance. This playlist documents the full live performance at Spazio Arena (Avellino), capturing Resonant Bends as a unified listening experience rather than a sequence of isolated works.

▌ LAST RESORT · DEMONCANDY × DEMONI CARAMELLA session guitarist · live show 2022
Live set as session guitarist for Demoncandy at the inaugural opening night of Last Resort Studio — a recording studio launched in Naples in november 2022. My work alongside the rest of the band was to re-shape the original beats produced by Mr. Monkey (Demoncandy's regular producer) into a rock / analog live arrangement — guitars, bass and drums replacing the studio tracks for the night.
Shots from the night — backstage, stage, and the band in motion.

are you lost?
let me help you.
i know you're looking for
something to grasp on to.

look around, stranger.
there are so many beautiful people.
you want to be one of them too,
don't you?

take shape in this world.
make it your own.
i'll guide you.
let's venture together.
follow my lead.

i am the connection you're seeking.
i am the missing thread.
i will bind you.
we will take part in the chaos.
we'll breathe in the static noise,
together as one.

i love you

...what are you on about?
are you looking for something?
sorry, you won't find it here.
